Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)

At Thill, we have lengthy experience in transmitting and receiving documents from retailers using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). EDI enables us to send and receive order information in an efficient, speedy and secure manner using computer technology. The benefit is not only the security it provides but the global standards also ensure 100% accuracy.

Once an order is received EDI instantly returns an acknowledgment assuring our retail client that the order was received and confirming all the information is accurate.

EDI is not restricted by the difference in companies or communication methods as the information is received in a structured format which ensures both companies speak in the same language.

To ensure we provide an efficient service to our retail clients and to set the trading relationship, we ask them to complete a questionnaire to ensure out EDI technology is set to meet our clients specifications.
